Australian Enrolment
Collegiate provides a challenging and supportive learning environment that encourages our students to reach their individual potential. Our Junior School campus is located in Anglesea Street, South Hobart and our Middle and Senior School campuses are located in Macquarie Street, Hobart.
Choosing a school for your child is one of the most important decisions you will make in life. We encourage you to take a tour of our School, meet our students and staff and learn more about the wonderful opportunities available to our students.
Entry levels at Collegiate are in Kindergarten, Year 5, Year 7, Year 9 and Year 11. Entry into the remaining year levels are offered depending on availability. Scholarships are available for entry into these year levels so please click here for further information.
The process of enrolment at Collegiate is as follows:
Step 1: Contact us By completing the online enquiry form or contacting the Registrar directly you will receive a copy of our Prospectus, Curriculum Handbook, Application for Admission form and Fees Schedule.
Step 2: Come for a tourOpen Days are held once per term but please contact the Registrar to make an appointment for a tour at any time. Come and see our school in action and meet our enthusiastic students and dedicated staff.
Step 3: Application for AdmissionTo apply for entry into Collegiate please complete and return the Application for Admission form. This form must be signed by both parents and returned with copies of the student’s last two school reports and the Application Fee.
Step 4: InterviewYou will be contacted during the year prior to your child’s entry for an interview with the Principal or Head of Junior School. This interview provides you with the opportunity to provide us with further information and ask questions in relation to the specific needs of your child.
Step 5: Confirmation of EnrolmentFollowing the interview you will receive a formal letter of offer and an invoice for the Enrolment Fee. You will have 30 days within which time to accept the offer in writing and pay the Enrolment Fee.
Step 6: Orientation Preparing your child for the transition into Collegiate is the final and most vital part of the enrolment process. We offer various opportunities for your child to become familiar with our School, our programs and our staff. Please click here for further information.
